This is the 422 page KIC Hardware and Software Reference Manual. We
strongly suggest that you do NOT print this manual because the entire
manual is in the on-line help of Version 2.2 of the KIC Software. The
on-line help contains two search engines to help you find what you are
looking for and specific sections can be easily printed.

If you have a Prophet system, you should download the Prophet User
Manual. If you have only a SlimKIC or SideKIC, download the SlimKIC
User Manual. If you have a Quick-KIC, download the Quick-KIC User
Manual. 

KIC Software v2.3 has passed the SEMATECH Y2K compliance tests. Please
refer to the "Year 2000 Testing for KIC Software version 2.3" document
for detailed test results, available online at:
   http://www.kicthermal.com/press/wk230-y2k-test.html

There have been no other significant changes in user interface, and all
KIC Software v2.2x help files, manuals, setup guides, and tutorials are
up to date for version 2.3.

Regardless of which KIC product you have, we suggest you spend an hour
or so stepping through the "KIC Software Tutorial". This 22 page guide
provides "hands on" instruction and can be downloaded from our web
site.

If you do decide to print this manual, it must be printed in Microsoft
Word '97. If you do not have Word '97, visit our Web Site for
instructions on obtaining a free Word '97 viewer from Microsoft.

If possible, this manual should be printed on a color printer.
