| PRESS RELEASE | For Immediate Release |
(San Diego, CA -- September 21, 2004) : KIC, the leader of thermal process development and control products and winner of multiple VISION awards, introduces profiling for rework and other applications at the upcoming Assembly Technology Expo scheduled for September 26-30, 2004, at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
The user friendly SlimKIC 2000 profiler and process development tool has been upgraded to accommodate new applications including rework, batch ovens, and high temperature furnaces. The new applications are built directly into the standard SlimKIC 2000 software and offered to customers at now additional cost.
With the conversion to lead-free manufacturing and its narrow thermal process window, the rework application becomes more critical and requires better profiling tools. The new SlimKIC 2000 software provides better control and documentation of the rework process.
