KIC Press Release November 2, 1998 - KIC Announces Software Partnership With BTU

(San Diego, CA -- November 2, 1998) : KIC Thermal Profiling announces that the company has reached an agreement with BTU International to incorporate KIC Thermal Profiling software into all new BTU reflow soldering systems as a standard feature.

Together, the two companies have more than 70 years of combined experience as industry leaders in thermal processing. The addition of KIC‘s profiling software to BTU‘s reflow systems further enhances ease of use for the ovens, while offering superior process control capabilities. The software provides a thermal profiling foundation, to which any of KIC‘s advanced thermal management systems may be added.
