SPC is a tool aimed at increasing your profitability by controlling and monitoring your production processes. Data is continuously charted and analyzed to detect trends and other information that may indicate whether your process is working at its optimum. SPC can provide early warning signals, allowing you to take corrective action to adjust the process before a single defect is produced.

KIC offers an integrated SPC package called QC-Calc. Every standard feature you'd expect in an SPC program is available, including Control Charts, Histograms, Cpk Analysis, and a report generator that allows you to create your own customized reports. It is extremely fast and easy to set up, and because all input data is controlled by the KIC software, any changes to product recipes are automatically transmitted to QC-Calc as limits and other parameters. When used with the Prophet Thermal Manager, QC-Calc completely automates real-time data collection, management, and analysis of temperature measurements for SPC purposes.
